      Verdict

Aided by Danny McMenamin’s claim, MILLIE OF MAYO (NAP) has been defying all attempts by the handicapper to reel her in. This is, by far, her toughest task to date but this stiff finish played to her strengths last time and she can complete the four-timer. Redbridge Gold was only beaten a neck by a useful novice at Newton Abbot last time and Golden Robin can find a handicap this season. Calliope is in the form of her life while Liffeydale Dreamer won easily at Cartmel. Ulterior Motives and last year’s winner Sweet Vinetta are also worth a second look but Jessiemac usually needs a run.
