The Evan Williams-trained William's Wishes sets a decent standard for this novices' hurdle having won at Worcester and found just one too good in two starts since then but he is again likely to struggle under a penalty and it may be worth taking a chance on hurdling newcomer MOSTLY BOB, who gets the vote with Golden Button rated the best of the rest. The selection won his only start in a bumper in Ireland when trained by Willie Mullins and now makes his hurdling debut and first start for Philip Hobbs but he looks a potentially interesting recruit to the novice hurdling ranks and may be too classy for his rivals today so looks worth siding with. Trump Call ran well when last seen in January 2008 and cannot be discounted with Venetia Williams having her team in good order, while Tony Carroll's Vertueux showed improved form when chasing home Posh Emily at Sandown recently but this looks tougher. Michael Scudamore's Ten Pole Tudor made an encouraging return to hurdles at Huntingdon last time and is another to consider along with Kim Bailey's lightly raced Golden Button, who looks to be going the right way having run much better at Stratford last time. Mostly Bob was a good winner on his only start in a bumper though and looks an interesting recruit to hurdling so he may be worth chancing first time out over timber.
