Akarita Lights wasn’t totally convincing when landing the odds at Market Rasen in the spring. He’s since switched stables and faces a tougher task here under a penalty. Plumpton winner WAR LORD will need further in time but he’s had just the two career starts so there should be plenty more to come. Red Nika has never raced on going this soft but is also lightly raced and was a clear second here four weeks ago. Ask Himself led until the final flight at Carlisle last month but is another who would benefit from a step up in trip.
