Verdict

The reappearance of HONEYSUCKLE has been eagerly awaited. A facile winner of her only start between the flags and on her hurdling debut in a maiden here, she then won a Thurles Listed contest and scored a further twice on this track culminating in a brilliant victory in the Grade 1 Mares Novice Championship over the trip. A long break shouldn't pose a problem as both realistic rivals are also making their reappearance with Willie Mullins' very progressive Mister Blue Sky, a Grade 2 winner here in April before placed at the highest level at Punchestown, only just favoured over stable companion Easy Game, narrowly beaten into third in a Grade 2 over the course and distance having landed a similar event at Navan in December.
