Verdict

MONKFISH looked to have a good chance at yesterday's abandoned fixture and though this looks tougher the winning point-to-pointer and bumper runner-up is taken to make a successful hurdling bow. His stable companion Dionysis should also be considered after just one bumper run at Navan in December while Hotel Du Nord had a couple of very good runs over timber and can't have been right when tailed off at Navan in March. Multifactorial just failed to concede 15lb to Bay Ambition on his hurdling debut at Downpatrick while point-to-point winner Diol Ker improved with each run over timber and won't be long winning again. Epson Du Houx is another hurdling debutant to keep an eye on.
