In depth

Verdict

CADEAU GEORGE will love the conditions and a test of stamina and gets the vote. He was chasing last season and has reverted to hurdles in fine form having won a similar race at Huntingdon last time. Bryden Boy has won twice, both times on heavy going, and was impressive at Uttoxeter last time though a 9lb rise makes this tougher. Sir Will, a winning bumper, makes his handicap debut and hasn't been further than 2m3f but Deckers Delight showed that staying is her game when gaining a shock victory over the track and trip last month and has to be respected from just 3lb higher. Jennys Day won a heavy ground maiden at Listowel in September before a couple of good runs for Kerry Lee though he found Class 2 company too much for him at Carlisle despite starting favourite.
