    Verdict

Zamdy Man, a Grade 2 winner on testing ground over hurdles, scored over fences at Uttoxeter in April and though beaten a long way into second on his reappearance at Ludlow last month he probably needed the run and the longer trip didn't appear to suit. Another Grade 2 winner, RAYVIN BLACK, is a very smart hurdler on his day and also won on the Flat at Goodwood in April. He tackles fences for the first time but receives plenty of weight and could be good enough to see off Gino Trail, who will be conceding 15lb with jockey claims taken into consideration. The latter won handicaps at Ludlow and Haydock before just failing to hold off the long odds-on Buveur D'Air at Warwick and is certain to make a bold bid despite his penalties. The remaining trio are likely to need mishaps by their rivals to get into contention.
