Verdict

A tricky finale with several looking closely matched on their best form. There has been promise in both of Fontsanta’s runs so far while Chinensis, a three-times winner between the flags, travelled strongly for a long way on his debut under Rules at Lingfield. Lygon Rock is very consistent but fully exposed, though returns to novice company after running in decent handicaps. REDZOR needed the help of the stewards at Ludlow to get off the mark but the first two pulled clear of the remainder and the step up to 3m has brought about improvement – he may be worth sticking with.
