Verdict
Plenty of runners but few with realistic chances. EDENE D'ARC won a bumper on her debut here last January and her three runs over hurdles suggest she's ready to lose her maiden tag. Twice narrowly beaten at Clonmel, the latest when attempting to concede Annie Odds 8lb, this trip on soft ground should enable her to get home. Winning point-to-pointer At The Acorn looks a big threat after a fine debut under Rules at Limerick in December when staying on over the minimum. He'll do better over further in time but soft ground will see his stamina come into play. Drop The Anchor won a Listowel bumper in September and has shown potential in two starts over timber while Pairc Na Ngael caught the eye at Naas last month and his trainer will find a race for him.
