Beau Bay goes for back-to-back victories in the day’s feature but finished just behind Dicosimo at Chepstow and can sulk if doesn’t get his own way out in front. GO LONG (NAP) has come late to chasing but followed up a promising start behind a useful rival at Haydock by beating a subsequent hurdles winner over course and distance at the turn of the year. He’s been lightly raced and the handicapper may have underestimated his potential. Town Parks was more like his old self at Ludlow and is a past winner here, as is Yorgonnahearmeroar. Elixir Du Gouet was favourite on his first run for new connections but weakened quickly and was pulled up so has a bit to prove now.
