Based on his run behind Wadnaan last time out MIGHTY MAMBO looks fairly treated on handicap debut and the risk is taken with Jane Chapple-Hyam's runner over Astromoon and Dr Finlay in a wide open handicap. Progressive in two runs this season the selection finished three lengths behind Wadnaan on that last run and with that rival going on to score by a wide margin off mark of 75 there is an argument the selection is looking on the light side in the handicap. Astromoon looks bred to improve for this step up in trip and having hinted at holding some ability in three runs should go well from this mark. Dr Finlay holds every chance based on his run at Nottingham in May but will have to return to that from after some recent lesser efforts while Firehawk should be weighted for a big run now just 1lb worse off than when last in front but he looks out of form. A tough race to judge but Mighty Mambo has scope to improve and could have been let in light.
