      Verdict

      SAYIF is the form pick to win this listed race at the expense of Awinnersgame and Damien. The selection showed promise last season as a two year old finishing second in the Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket. He proved he had trained on by winning a conditions stakes at short odds at Leicester last month and will be good enough to land himself in the winners enclosure now upped into listed company. Awinnersgame has shown some fair form in two similar races this season. He finished second to Ouqba at Newmarket on his return run and was not far behind Border Patrol at Newbury last time out, and he has place claims once again. Damien finished second in the valuable sales race at Doncaster last September but he has struggled to get his head in front on his two starts this season. He clearly has ability but it remains to be seen whether he has trained on since his two year old days. Sayif comes into this race in fine form and he can add to his winning tally.
