GRAVITATION is taken to win on his seasonal reappearance at the expense of Clowance and Les Fazzani. The selection broke her maiden tag at Leicester last June before finishing third in The Queens Vase at Royal Ascot and scoring a Group 3 contest at Newmarket. She is clearly a high class filly and has to warrant plenty of respect in a race she is more than capable of winning. Clowance shaped well last season winning her maiden at Newbury and then winning a listed race at the same venue. She caused media attention when the owner jocked off Steve Drowne in favour of Frankie Dettori in The Oaks at Epsom where she ran well to finish fourth behind Look Here.. She has the form behind her and is added to the short list. Les Fazzani has more experience than most and has proven her ability over the past two seasons. She had been contesting in listed races for sometime before she eventually landed her first at Doncaster last November. She does have a preference for give in the ground so any over night rain will be appreciated; however, preference is for Gravitation.
