This is traditionally a spring target for three-year-old milers that fall just short of Listed class at this stage and is invariably a hugely competitive affair. This year's renewal lives up to the billing and Zabaglione is selected to give Kieren Fallon his second consecutive winner of the race. The ground conditions have come right for the Zilzal gelding and he will be spot on for this after a couple of bold efforts earlier in the season. Jay Gee's Choice, a winner here as a juvenile, has some smart form to his name and is one to consider for an each way selection. Along with Weavers Pride and Largo D'orta, who have both shown a good level of progression and will not be far away at the finish if running up to form. Jazz Messenger, who represents last year¿s winning trainer, Gerard Butler, is another who is going the right way but needs to settle better in the early stages of his races. Where as the trip is something of an uncertainty with Helm Bank and the disappointing Tizzy May.
