Verdict

Intervention has been in winning form over the winter and is only 2lb higher than when winning at Wolverhampton earlier in the month. He’s preferred to Water Of Leith and Late Arrival of those arriving form the all-weather but AFTER JOHN (NAP) looks on a favourable mark. The latter made an encouraging debut for Iain Jardine’s yard when runner-up at Thirsk on his first outing after wind surgery and can confirm running with both Dream Together and Impeller. Secret Eagle also ran well at Pontefract on his reappearance but steps back up in trip.
