      It can pay to give another chance to Brut, who has shaped as if a race like this is his for the taking and he is selected ahead of Make Us Flush, a course and distance winner that will handle the ground and should not be underestimated tonight. Mytton's Bell and Cerebus, who have also dropped a few hints about ability and also have claims on the absolute pick of their form. However, they have been well held recently and their weaknesses have already been exposed. Brut, on the other hand, is still open to a fair bit more improvement and, as he is likely to be allowed an easy lead, Brut may have too much sparkle for Make Us Flush on these terms.
