Verdict
This race will throw up plenty of winners so make sure that the video is ready but for today, PEVERIL is selected ahead of M'Lord Bishop and Last Of The Bunch. The gelding ran respectably on debut at Chepstow. Stamina will ultimately be his forte but connections have been interestingly patient. M¿Lord Bishop is a full brother to winning chaser, Indalo. His brother was useful over three miles so the market needs to be watched this afternoon. Last Of The Bunch is in receipt of all the allowances. She¿d travelled well for the majority of her Sedgefield contest before getting bogged down in the prevailing soft ground. Presenting Jet cost 24000 euros at the Goffs sales. His dam's progeny have been somewhat disappointing at the racecourse. Purrfect Hero is a son of the very useful mare, Ar Muin Na Muice. Two miles will probably be on the sharp side and McCoy is elsewhere. Mister Wall Street has a relatively untried pedigree though raised ¿26000 at Kempton last December. Patriot ran creditably in two junior bumpers earlier in his career though was put in his place against better opposition at Kelso.. Russian Music has a very flat-led pedigree but his sales price of just 800gns sets off alarm bells. A good race in prospect and Peveril is our preferred option.
