This looks the stronger of the two divisions and from a shortlist of Dr Green, TILLIEMINT and Premier Clarets, we will tentatively side with the Tim Easterby runner. This daughter of Acclamation was well-fancied for her debut at Thirsk and shaped with heaps of promise, eventually filling second behind Sir Lunchalott. The longer trip today will suit this cheap purchase (money well-spent) and a bold bid is expected. Tarantella Lady shaped well at Doncaster in what looks a decent maiden, Master Macho is winless in five but the ground will suit and he sets the standard, whilst Moorland Boy looks like one of the more interesting newcomers although the stable are more noted for gleaning improvement from first to second runs. Of more interest is Premier Clarets who ran well at Newcastle on debut. He looked like winning before being collared by a well-backed rival (interestingly he was weak in the market) and is taken to run well over a trip that will suit. The obvious danger to them all is Dr Green who lived up to his name by looking a tad clueless in the early stages of his Goodwood debut. However at the line he was running on well and seeing as his yard have a form line on nearly every juvenile race going it is fair to assume that he will run a big race. An open heat then but preference is for Tilliemint. [Nic Doggett]
