A real slog in prospect with more rain forecast. Manothepeople made a fine chasing debut at Chepstow over 3m2f, albeit on good ground and against novices. He's one to note for the future over fences but this does rate a tougher assignment. Your Own Story and No Cruise Yet are both likely to come on plenty for sound seasonal reappearances and look nicely treated, with preference for the latter. Nestor Park and Wouldubewell look classy sorts at this level, but both face pretty daunting tasks on the likely testing ground on their respective seasonal reappearances. Achille has no stamina issues but is fully exposed now into the veteran stage and POPPA POUTINE makes most appeal. He's fit after two decent handicap runs, will appreciate the step-up in trip and has won previously on the soft.
