In depth

Verdict

Hugely competitive with just 5lb separating the top eight. Run For Oscar may not have tackled hurdles for over a year but arrives on the back of landing the Cesarewitch at Newmarket and is hard to ignore despite topweight. Good Risk At All impressed in the way he went about his work when scoring at Carlisle on heavy ground and is likely to go close if handling the extra half-mile. Complete Unknown and Get A Tonic are both interesting for Nicholls and Skelton respectively and fitness is rarely an issue for either yard when inmates return from a break. Similar comments apply to Might I, who also steps up to this trip for the first time. Wakool and Brinkley are also noted but the vote goes to BOTOX HAS. The Moore gelding ran a fine race when runner-up at Cheltenham last month, handles soft ground - heavy is an unknown - and Caoilin Quinn's 7lb claim just tips the scales in his favour.
