Hawk Flight makes plenty of appeal here after a career best effort at Lingfield last time. Different tactics were applied at Lingfield, where he raced quite prominently before finding just one too good in Royal Acclaim. The ten furlong trip here should suit Hawk Flight although connections seem unsure with regard to his optimum trip. Feisty Royale was kept busy throughout her juvenile campaign scoring twice in conditions quite similar to today¿s. She is 4lb lower than her second winning mark and looks a big danger to the selection. Cathedral Walk was well beaten last time in a muddling five runner handicap and has shaped as though a step up in trip would not go amiss. Doon Haymer has a sole victory to his name, that being in heavy ground although he has received some leniency from the assessor. Soggy Dollar has only the one handicap outing from seven career starts to-date and could go well but we will give Hawk Flight the vote.
