The speedy Viva Verglas beat Back Lane at Musselburgh in August and will appreciate the drop back to 5f after two runs over further. Suzi's Connoisseur is another dropping down in distance and he beat Meadway at Musselburgh in the spring, though Bryan Smart's easy Fibresand winner is 12lb better off now and should turn the tables. Desert Ace won over the minimum at Sandown last month but this is more competitive and SLEEPY SIOUX looks the one to beat. He was a shade unlucky when only beaten half-a-length at Nottingham earlier this month and can race off the same mark here.
