Verdict

Commonsensical ran loose before finishing last on his debut at Newmarket so that run can be ignored. Richard Kingscote prefers him to the filly Harmony Lil and he should be a contender in this. No Recollection finished fourth at Newbury but already looks as though he’ll need further. Richard Hannon runs two with Mesopotamia, a half-brother to a 1m2f winner, looking a better bet than Fancy Man but ONE OVER PAR takes the eye on breeding. James Tate’s colt cost 50,000gns as a yearling and there is pace and stamina in his pedigree. State Of Bliss can’t be ignored either given his yard’s current strike-rate with their two-year-olds and he’s a brother to a winner over this trip and related to several other winners.
