RESOLUTE ROAD is preferred to Think Its All Over and Mighty Clarets in the finale. Think It's All Over has to bounce back from a desperately poor run at York on the softest ground that he's encountered to date but he was strongly fancied for that competitive handicap so he has to be feared at this more modest level. He does, however, have to prove that York run to be wrong so we'd rather side with Resolute Road who improved for the switch to handicap company when going close at Lingfield. He's certainly not one of the stable stars and is another that has to prove himself on the underfoot conditions but we're hopeful that he'll handle cut in the ground and he should go well. Mighty Clarets is respected but has yet to conclusively prove that he stays this trip unlike Ice Viking who went close at Sandown last time but that certainly wasn't the strongest race for the track and of more interest may be another doubtful stayer in Toga Tiger as he's dropped to a very attractive mark but everything points to Resolute Road.
