In depth

Verdict

Dual bumper winner Golden Coin faces a stiff task on his hurdling debut here against two previous winners over timber. Atlantic Crossing looks a nice staying prospect and impressed when outclassing his rivals at Carlisle. He is a horse with a future, but he faces an unexposed rival over hurdles in the shape of Ingenu, who up until his last outing had raced mainly over fences. Robert Alner's gelding gets the TEAMtalk vote to follow up his recent course and distance victory.
