      Verdict

      A cracking event, but Mary Reveley sets a poser by saddling three of the runners. October Mist has plenty on his plate off his current mark, but Polish Flame is open to plenty of improvement having only had the four outings to date over hurdles. On the face of it the Handicapper looks to have taken no chances with him and he has something to prove at this level. The TEAMtalk selection is Junkanoo, who was a costly failure behind stablemate Robbo, who was on one of his going days at Newcastle last time. He had previously been impressive over this course and distance, when a wide margin winner off a 9lb lower mark. He may have most to fear from the progressive Ballylusky, who is chasing a hat-trick.
