In depth

Verdict

Assiduous is by Sir Percy out of a mare that stayed well and has produced winners with her first three foals. Fellow debutant Festival Of Ages is also worth considering given his yard’s brilliant recent form, though is dirt bred. Uae King led for a long way when second over a similar trip at Lingfield last month but we’ll take a chance that cheekpieces encourage JOSHUA REYNOLDS to put his best foot forward. He still looks a work in progress but has offered encouragement in both start to date and his stable won this in 2014 and 2015.
