Verdict
Makkaar never figured on his reappearance but probably needed the run. Newcastle winner Hugin appears to have been done no favours by the handicapper but, like the once-raced Omeros, is totally unexposed. Zefferino got off the mark at Lingfield but looks a hard ride and steps up a furlong for this. SIDEWINDER has risen another 4lb after back-to-back course and distance victories but another big run is anticipated as he keeps finding and handled soft going well enough as a juvenile. Intimate Art could also go well if transferring all-weather form back to Turf but Fire Brigade, Original Choice and International Law let supporters down last time.
