      Verdict

      Blue Ksar has the class to win this and has to be respected but Godolphin's colt has yet to prove that he is as effective on ground this fast as a softer surface and at likely odds he looks worth leaving out of calculations with preference for Kandidate, who gets the vote over Formal Decree. The last mentioned looks the second string of Godolphin's two runners though and like his stablemate would probably prefer more cut in the ground. Mark Johnston saddles two runners with Zaham, who is progressing with each start, marginally preferred to Hearthstead Maison. However, Kandidate is a proven performer in the grade, on the ground and comes from a yard that has been among the winners of late.
