Nonrunner
Sounds Simla's overall form profile entitles him to the beating of Angus Newz and Wovoka. Ralph Beckett's runner is not the most well-treated horse in the world but the way in which he coped with Bathwick Emma at Leicester suggested he was going the right way. The going at Goodwood was perhaps a little softer than officially stated so with that start forgiven, we believe that there is a fair chance of success. Wovoka is a frustrating little horse but he ran on well at Redcar. Six furlongs could be a minimum for him these days but his backers should not expect to see him on the scene until very late. Angus Newz was beaten by our selection on their most recent meeting. He produced a shock win at Yarmouth a couple of weeks ago and should be on the early pace on Thursday evening. A mark of 85 shows that the handicapper must have been impressed with Dhekraa. Myths and Verses squandered a winning opportunity at Doncaster and is opposed. Sounds Simla is our selection.
