        Verdict

        Guilia is bound to be popular with backers having run fifth in the Oaks but Rae Guest's filly was well beaten that day and preference is for Innocent Air, who gets the vote ahead of Princess Nada. The last mentioned is going the right way having won her last two starts but she is not certain to stay this far so may be best watched. The ex-German Power Girl made a winner start to her career with Paul Cole when successful at Warwick last month but this looks tougher, while Allegretto may find this coming too soon in her career. Alessandria disappointed in the Ribblesdale last month and is hard to back with confidence on her showing there so preference is for Innocent Air. John Gosden has won this event twice in the last three years and looks to have another likely type here in the shape of the daughter of Galileo who is entitled to improve considerably for the step up in trip.
