      Verdict

The short list contains Robema, Gelder and Whistleupthewind, with the vote going to Robema. Robema was an impressive Beverley maiden winner and could come into this race well-handicapped. Despite her tail-swishing, Gelder did nothing wrong at Salisbury last time and is respected. As is Whistleupthewind, who comes here on the back of two straight wins, while Myths And Verses suggested that she had better to come at Musselburgh last time, and she steps up in trip today. Of the others, Antigoni looked to be improving at Newbury last time, Dallma has scope for improvement, and Tiber Tilly needs to recapture her form quickly, but Dancing Flame we could not be strong on for win purposes. Not so with Robema, who can go well.
