      Verdict

NATHANAEL GREENE can defy topweight of 10-0. The only runner on the card for William Haggas, he drops in grade after running well enough in classy staying handicaps and has first-time headgear applied. Blow Your Horn's winning run came to an abrupt halt last time but that was on an artificial surface and he should enjoy this return to grass. Geremia posted a sound effort in a hot staying handicap at Newbury latest and a repeat of that level brings him into contention as he'll handle both trip and ground and Jim Goldie is on track for his best-ever season. His gelding seems sure to be in the mix. Miss Cynthia and Cinnodin are likeable representatives of the three-year-old generation, receive plenty of weight from their elders and are respected albeit in what looks a tougher ask for both.
