The return to five furlongs will suit FAVOURITE GIRL who hasn't stopped improving this year. Tim Easterby's filly is all about speed and she didn't run a bad race when midfield in the Great St Wilfrid over six furlongs. She seems adaptable in regards to the ground and her new mark of 92 looks manageable. Reignier represents a yard in good form and he is respected in a handicap for the first time, whilst Anglezarke brings a solid Listed fourth to the table, as opposed to Golden Destiny and Archers Road whose better recent runs have been in handicap company. Desert Phantom and Strike Up The Band are both handicapped to win and each is respected more than the consistent quartet of Haajes, Courageous, Secret Millionaire and Confessional. Last-year's winner Cheveton needs the heavens to open.
