Verdict
Roman Ruler hasn't been seeing out five furlongs let alone six and is readily dismissed despite the benefit of experience over rivals in this race. Sleights Boy, Guinea Seeker and Syncopated Lady are crossed out of calculations with little to suggest they are any nearer to winning despite a handful of appearances between them. Amazing Win has to be respected from the Mick Channon yard and her dam placed over six furlongs on her debut as a juvenile. Kwik Lightening should come on for his debut at Redcar with pedigree suggesting this trip is ideal. CHOOSE THE MOMENT gets the vote after two solid second placed efforts to date. Her trainer doesn't send many to Thirsk from her Oxfordshire base and a switch from the testing challenges of Salisbury and Sandown may suit. Richard Whitaker sends Spin A Wish a short drive up the A1 for her debut and she remains in the shortlist as the trainer has a 27% record here this year. Picabo showed her inexperience on debut as she was slowly away but with a better start this time could challenge.
