A very interesting Listed Race can go to With Reason, with Autumn Glory, Quito and Polar Ben possibly proving best of the rest. The selection put in a smart performance when making all to win this race last year. Despite having been absent from the track since, he can go well fresh and, accordingly, earns respect here. Quito is tough and dependable and is keeping his form well and he'll probably bring the house down if he scores. He is respected along with Autumn Glory, who is the highest rated of these, will like the underfoot conditions although he has eight pounds worth of penalties to shoulder. A return to the form that saw Polar Ben land a Group 3 race in October would give him solid claims, while Diktatorial was last seen when a 2,000 Guineas also ran, so the jury is out at present on him, although he will like the going. Linngari scored cosily at Hamilton last time, but this represents a step up in grade, and Tucker's Sussex Stakes eighth last time was a fairly good effort, enough to earn him consideration, while the 2003 Chesham Stakes winner, Whazzat, comes here unbeaten in two, but she has not been seen on the track for 441 days. She is an interesting contender but the vote goes to With Reason.
