Almanshood, gets the confident vote to win this maiden with Clueless, and Consular rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Dubai Venture in a similar race last time out. That form has since been franked and in what looks an easier race he is hard to oppose. Clueless rates the main danger on his latest second behind Mr Vegas, especially as this longer trip looks sure to suit. Consular is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Ebitkaar but his best form is on a fast surface so he would not want any more rain. Lilac Mist is from a yard in form and was second behind Best Prospect last time. He is another that will appreciate this longer trip but he looked very one-paced on that occasion and is passed over for that reason. Of the remainder Hills Spitfire is another with place claims on his best form but he is more exposed than most and may be vulnerable to a less exposed type. In a tough race for punters to call for the winner we return to Almanshood.
