      Verdict

      Persist has been looking a couple of pounds high since her maiden victory at Ripon back in May though she did have the disappointing favourite TERRA MITICA well behind when runner-up in a four-runner race at Nottingham. The latter had looked progressive earlier and can't have been right so gets a chance to prove that run all wrong. Elena's Gift completed a double before the handicapper caught up with her at Windsor while Greek Flame failed to stay 1m4f at Kempton having shown much better form over shorter and had Angels Landing behind at Chester.
