    Verdict

CASTLE WAY, a 425,000gns half-brother to the high-class Palace Pier, found one too good at Newmarket but looked in need of experience and will take the world of beating. Tellateller was unfancied on his debut here and though unable to get to the favourite stayed on nicely and looks certain to get into contention. Paisano, a 200,000gns half-brother to three winners, also made a very promising debut at Newmarket. Garden Route is by Galileo out of a Group 1 winner in South Africa and King Me is a half-brother to four winners.
