      Verdict

Kitbag is penalised for a comfortable victory on the Polytrack at Lingfield and conceding weight to SAKHEER may prove beyond him. From the in-form Roger Varian yard, the son of Zoffany started favourite for his debut at Windsor but found one too good and can recoup losses. Capital Offence must have been showing up well at home as he started favourite for his debut at Ayr but may not have been suited by the soft conditions. Attaj, who cost 140,000gns as a yearling, is related to numerous winners while stablemate Tafreej is a half-brother to a 5f winner out of a mare from a top-class middle-distance family.
