EZDEYAAD, Kyllachy Star and Reel Buddy Star make the shortlist here, and course specialist Ezdeyaad can complete a four timer. Reel Buddy Star followed up a decent run at Redcar, by upsetting Mark Johnston's Royal Ascot placed runner Secretive at Newcastle on Friday. He runs here under a 6lb penalty but can hit the frame. Kyllachy Star has not won this year, but he ran his best race for some time to be third in a lucrative Sandown handicap recently. The early signs are that it was a good contest and only 2lbs higher here, he can maintain that improvement. The form of Ezdeyaad's three wins over this course and distance does not look especially good, but he could do no more than win, and the handicapper has only raised him 4lbs for his latest win. He is clearly in great heart, and Ezdeyaad can once again shoulder 10 stone to victory.
