Roger Fell is striking while the iron is red hot with GUARDIA SVIZZERA, who is being asked to carry a 12lb penalty for his victories here and at Catterick on Wednesday. He made all over 6f the last day and was well clear at this trip so will be very difficult to catch. Burmese Blazer also won on Wednesday at Musselburgh and he's a progressive type so a 6lb penalty shouldn't prevent another big run. Rockley Point is 1-36 though has come close to doubling his tally on several occasions including at Carlisle last week. Geoff Potts doesn't win often but will enjoy the conditions more than most and has been given a chance by the assessor.
