Verdict

Delft Dancer beat three rivals over 5f at Nottingham in May but hasn't progressed as expected and refused to race at Newmarket last time. Must See The Doc gained a shock victory on soft ground at Doncaster in June so will love the conditions but his penalty makes things more difficult. Hoffa had stable companion Seven For A Pound behind when both were beaten at Haydock but the latter was making his debut and can improve past him. Bullion Boss made a promising start at Ayr and didn't appreciate fast ground at Haydock last time but this should go to THREE COMETS, who looked very green on ground with some give at Yarmouth but finished with a real flourish once getting the hang of the job. A Royal Lodge entry confirms he's held in some regard.
