GRAZEON GOLD BLEND may get due reward for some consistent performances in this tricky sprint handicap. Most of the others can be given a squeak with Finsbury and Angel Voices two of the more obvious candidates. The Nifty Fox drops markedly in grade and has slipped in the weights but has rarely run over six and has been well held lately. Glasshoughton ran slightly below form last time and is also high enough in the weights. Finsbury landed a touch at Newmarket and remains well handicapped from his revised mark but may not want too much cut in the ground and the Newmarket race was more than likely Plan A so there's a chance that he may not build on it. Two winners have come out of Elijah Pepper's race at Pontefract and he is only 3lbs higher; he sees out this trip well and may continue to head in the right direction. Angel Voices won a course and distance apprentice handicap a shade cosily and could go well again from a 4lb higher mark if allowed an easy lead. Nabeeda has only shown modest form but is unexposed and stayed on quite well over five last time, he may have more to offer but the claims of Grazeon Gold Blend are stronger. John Quinn's gelding has held his own in better company than this and lines up from the same mark as when second over course and distance last week. He's in rude health at present and Grazeon Gold Blend can go one better.
