Whozart, Gelert and Jojesse form an unconvincing short-list for this modest sprint handicap in which few have sound claims on recent performances. WHOZART is selected as he has been running fairly consistently in the main this season and a similar performance should be enough to see him have a say in the outcome. He had She's Our Beauty and Throw The Dice behind last time when finishing fourth in a relatively competitive claimer on good to soft which suggests that he should cope with conditions. The conditions are a concern for Jojesse as his best performances have come on quick ground but he has run some fair races on the fibresand so it may be worth giving him a chance here. His recent efforts read well enough in the context of this race and he's respected. Jadan is interesting but has needed his first outing of the season in the past so we'll look to the other end of the weights for our final nominee. Gelert has looked moderate throughout most of his career but the fitting of blinkers has brought about a little improvement on his last two starts and he may not need to find too much more to make the frame. A tricky race to call but WHOZART may be there or thereabouts at the finish.
