        Verdict

        La Bacouetteuse landed a double last month but is 7lb higher today and has to prove he can handle the underfoot conditions. MAHAB EL SHAMAAL will have no problem with the going as he won on his racecourse debut over 1m2f on soft ground last year and, with a couple of runs this season under his belt, David Simcock's charge is fancied to prove too good for these. Ad Value is facing a different test having got off the mark over a longer trip at Catterick recently, while last month's Polytrack winner Epic was pulled-up on his latest start at Yarmouth. Ritsi could prove best of the rest with Julie Burke's claim helping his cause.
