    Verdict

Jolly Ranch has failed to figure on her last couple of starts and is 9lb higher than when beating MY METEOR here in July. In contrast, the latter is holding his form well and looks capable of landing his third course win of the season having gone close again at this track last time. Spic 'n Span has a length to find with the selection on earlier running, though he's scored over C&D since, while Cliffords Reprieve and Madam Isshe are others with a bit of ground to make up on the leading contenders.
