Yungaburra has been coming back to his best of late and Danny Murphy's gelding is fancied to get off the mark for this season at the main expense of recent winners Circuit Dancer and Word Perfect, with the consistent Joyeux one for the placepot. The selection really paid for a series of two-year-old wins with the handicapper and starting off this season on a mark of 100, he struggled to put his best foot forward. However having dropped in the weights to a more manageable mark (now rated 85), he is fancied to resume winning ways. Bo McGinty could be of interest although he wouldn't want any further rain, whilst Ashes and Jadan are two of several course and distance winners in the lineup but neither is in the best of form at present. Joyeux is ultra-consistent and equally effective over five and six furlongs, he can again run his race and he is still on a fair mark. Word Perfect was foot perfect when finishing in front of Joyeux last time and despite a turn around in the weights he again can go well. Circuit Dancer represents a trainer in form and showed a good attitude at Chester last time; he is still feasibly handicapped on old form and rates a danger. At a price Haajes, a stablemate of the selection, could surprise a few, however it is Yungaburra who we give narrow preference to.
