Plenty of in-form contenders here and the nomination goes to Mandurah ahead of Rainbow Fox and Distant Sun. Dandy Nicholls has his stable in good form and his Mandurah, a son of the smart Tagula, comes here on the back of a series of consistent efforts. His second last time out was a good effort and assuming that no more rain comes, then he could be capable of getting his head back in front. Cha Cha Cha is unexposed and has shown a good level of form on rain-softened ground. He has been given a break since his last outing, but if he returns fit and raring to go then he must be a force to be reckoned with. Distant Sun is a dual course and distance winner and effective on any ground he will not mind which way the weather goes. Bussel is consistent but his wins so far have come on an artificial surface, whilst Poppy's Rose drops in trip but has shown a debatable attitude in the past. At a price Farefield Lodge could go well, however Mandurah is fancied to resume winning ways.
