There are plenty of strong pointers towards the claims of TERENZIUM here and Micky Hammond's charge gets our vote. Not only did our selection win this last year, he did so off this mark of 50. The gelding has been running over timber with some success and had a nice pipe-opener at Thirsk on ground quicker than ideal last time, so we're confident that this apparent target can be achieved. Tilos Gem must be considered as he can easily be forgiven a poor run at Southwell but Mark Johnston's colt is better on fast ground which he's unlikely to get here, although the fact that Simon Walker, aboard our pick last year, rides Tilos Gem may be a clue. Regent's Secret may have missed his winning chance as he's now raised to a mark of 60 having been second off 58 earlier this month, Dimashq ran well from out of the weights at Beverley but may have been favoured by racing on the best ground while Back To Paris and Hi Dancer both need to put average displays behind them.
